Boy takes watch
An 11-year-old boy was caught late Monday afternoon stealing a designer watch at the Duty Free Shoppers Galleria, police reported yesterday.
The juvenile suspect reportedly whisked the $205-worth G-Shock brand timepiece from one of the shopping mall’s shelves.
Police arrested the lad for theft charges and was brought over to the juvenile detention for processing.
Woman wanted for forgery
The Department of Public Safety Bureau of Motor Vehicle has filed an active complaint against a 47-year-old woman for allegedly falsifying license documents.
The lady, a citizen of the Republic of the Philippines, has been charged with forging a driver’s license or possession of forged writing devices.
It was not indicated whether the suspect was taken under police custody.
Juvenile nabbed for assault
Two Hopwood Junior High School students at play during Physical Education class last Monday got caught in a violent brawl for reasons that were not immediately known.
Police, based on an interview with an eyewitness, said the boys were last seen playing when one of them started bleeding in the head area.
The victim, a 13-year-old junior high student, was brought over to the principal’s office where he reported the incident to school authorities.
Meanwhile, the 14-year-old suspect was arrested by police for disturbing the peace and assault with a dangerous weapon.
Owner cries over the loss of Playstation
A 26-year-old woman logged a police complaint reporting that her $200-Playstation was missing from her Dandan home last April 9.
The amusement device was stolen inside the 2nd floor level of the GIG Poker in lower Dandan.
Without leads, police are still investigating for suspects.
Man accused of stealing fence
A man who allegedly stole a fence from an individual around the H-Mart store in Gualo Rai was charged Monday with theft, and several other charges, police said.
The suspect whose name was not disclosed is also being accused of assault with a dangerous weapon for attempting to harm the same individual last April 9.
Assault and battery charges as well as criminal mischief charges have also been leveled against he suspect.
