Firm launches pre-paid cellular phone services
The convenience of cellular service is now available for everyone. SAIPANCELL Communications launches Prepaid Cellular Phone Service today at its Gualo Rai office.
“The prepaid cellular convenience is that customers no longer have to deal with credit checks, paying a security deposit, or monthly bills,” said Hans Mickelson, General Manager for SAIPANCELL Communications. “They can get their phones activated with us and purchase their prepaid cards whenever they need the airtime. We have a product that sells itself and is user friendly.”
Mr. Mickelson further stated that SAIPANCELL is featuring specially packaged “GO Kits!” which consist of a cellular phone, charger and a $10 BONUS card. There are four phone models to choose from.
SAIPANCELL prepaid phone cards are currently available in 11 locations throughout the island in addition to the SAIPANCELL Communications store. “We anticipate increasing the locations of where customers can purchase SAIPANCELL prepaid cards or GO Kits!,” said Mr. Mickelson.
“We have been looking forward to launching this service on Saipan since the success we experienced on Guam when prepaid was launched in December 2000,” stated Jay Shedd, Senior Vice President of SAIPANCELL and GUAMCELL Communications. “We knew that it was a product we definitely had to have on Saipan.”
