CHC hires new obstetrician, infectious disease specialist

The Commonwealth Health Center recently hired and signed a long-term contract with Dr. Stewart Pollock to provide full-time Obstetrical and Gynecological services in the Commonwealth.

Dr. Pollock is the hospital’s third full-time OB/GYN specialist. Dr. Pollock received his Royal College Certification in Canada in 1984, although he originally trained in Glasgow Victoria Hospital, Scotland, UK.

Dr. Emma Montanez also recently arrived in the Commonwealth and joined CHC’s Internal Medicine Department as an Infectious Disease specialist.

Dr. Montanez trained at the Harlem Hospital Center, New York City, completing her fellowship in Infectious disease in 2000. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. She has a special interest in communicable illness.

Dr. Pollock and Dr. Montanez are available for consultation at CHC.
