In a collaborative effort with the Marianas Visitors Authority and the Hotel Association of the Northern Mariana Islands, the Japan-Saipan Travel Association will hold a cleanup drive along Beach Road on Saturday.

Pacific Development Inc. officer Gordon Marciano said JSTA Vice President Yoichi Matsumura will lead participants from HANMI, MVA and the Northern Marianas College on the association’s annual cleanup drive which will kick off at 10am.

The group will pick up litters and debris starting from the Micro Beach area towards Carolinian Affairs Office where two groups will be divided to handle the beach side and hotel areas.

Mr. Marciano extends JSTA’s invitation to interested individuals and the community to join the annual cleanup activity to commemorate the association’s anniversary.

The group will also plant trees as part of its beautification project. For interested parties, contact Mr. Marciano at 322-8780 or 287-1195.
