Student exchange trip planned

The Saipan Mayor’s Office, in cooperation with the Saipan Jaycees, is in the process of organizing another student exchange trip to Korea. Chamorro and Carolinian students between the ages of 12 and 18 years old, with valid passport, and a GPA of 3.0 and above are qualified to participate.

The student exchange program is a four-day trip to the South Korean capital city of Seoul. A fee of $300 will be collected from each participant. Applications may be picked up at the Saipan Mayor’s Chalan Kanoa or San Antonio office. Deadline for submission of applications is on May 10. LibDay committee meeting

All members of the 2002 Liberation Day Committee are advised that there will be a general meeting on Thursday, April 18, at 1pm at the Aging Center’s conference room in China Town. All committee members are encouraged to attend. Kagman monthly cleanup

Kagman residents will hold the monthly cleanup drive at the Marine Beach on Saturday, April 20, from 7am to 10am. All Kagman residents are encouraged to participate. Participants will gather at the Santa Soledad Church grounds at 7am.
