Basketball bonanza

Rain and lack of results from other sports conspired for this week’s Sunday gallery to be a basketball exclusive.

But doesn’t mean that hogging it by default was not earned. In the 40-and-over Masters Basketball League, for instance, Old Aces supplied a week’s worth of drama in their gripping win against Dyno-Sores Thursday.

Old Aces were given up for dead after Dyno-Sores went to the line up by 3 points with 2.7 precious seconds left. But Elias Rangamar would weave his old magic once again and sent the game into overtime , where Old Aces pulled off the incredible win.

All games in the resto league were rained out last week save for the Country House-El Segundo tussle last Monday. Country House incidentally won that game but not without tough resistance from El Segundo.
