The Calvary Christian Academy has over 200 books left for sale after a three-day sale that began July 22 at the school grounds.

Marilee Norman, 6th grade teacher, said the school is selling the books for a third of the price or less.

“We are trying to get rid of them so we don’t have so many in our store room,” said Norman, who assisted customers at the Science Lab during the book sale.

“We had 400 books to start with, and now over a half of that is left,” said Norman. “We might donate some of the new books that we do not sell to the Public Library.”

Books remaining include grammar books, English literature, U.S. history, vocabulary books, math text, children’s reading books, and teacher’s edition books.

Norman said the books are great for writers. “Some of our books might be good for tutors, too.”

Games for children and CCA uniform t-shirts are other items included in the sale.

The books remain available for sale. For more information, contact Norman at 234-6026. (Cassie DLG Fejeran)
