The Emergency Management Office yesterday warned the public to keep distance from the Farallon De Mendenilla Island next month due to test bombings to be conducted at the island’s Training Area.

According to EMO deputy director Mark Pangelinan, the U.S. military would be conducting live fire bombing training exercise on three separate occasions next month.

The first segment would take place from August 2 to 6 from 7am to 8pm, while the second is scheduled for August 17 to 20, from 7am to 8pm as well.

Capping the exercise is an aerial survey that would be held on August 23 between 8am and noon.

Further, Pangelinan urged all aircraft to remain at a distance of about 15,000 feet mean sea level on a 10 nautical mile radius on all quadrants.
