The Northern Marianas College Human Resources Office recently came out with a mission statement that it hopes would help it provide better services to the college.

According to the two-page release, its primary objective is to support the college’s instructional programs, department and divisions that promote student learning.

In addition, HRO also helps ensure that the college has qualified and sufficient human resources.

“The HRO focuses on meeting the collective needs of students, employees, and the community by expediting the manpower processes that fulfill and support the college’s mission,” the media release stated.

According to HRO, its main strength lies in its diversified staff and members’ different areas of expertise.

“They work as a team and focus on three main areas: efficiency, expertise, and zeal. These three objectives complement their many efforts in assisting the community and providing guidance to the college’s faculty and staff,” the statement adds.

In addition, through their services, HRO employees ensure that the needs of the college faculty, staff and students are met.

Recognition of service to the college for jobs well done is always recognized by the HRO. The team promotes success, deals with employment issues, encourages employees to be the best they can be, and always fosters employee leadership.

“Equal employment opportunity plays a key role in the HRO. The equal and fair treatment of all is not just a legal requirement; it is an HRO commitment to every applicant who walks in its doors,” it said.
