The book presentation ceremony for the student book, We Drank Our Tears: Memories of the Battles for Saipan and Tinian as Told by our Elders, will be held tomorrow, Aug. 31, from 3:30pm to 5pm at the Center for Aging in Garapan Park, across the Gold’s Gym.

Anicia Q. Tomokane, president of the Pacific STAR Young Writers’ Foundation, is asking that the young writers who collaborated in writing the book to bring the elder whom they interviewed.

The foundation said that parents, teachers and principals of the young writers are also invited.
