Saipan lass lands on Who’s Who
Another Saipan student made it to the 2003-2004 edition of Who’s Who Among American High School Students®.
Kimberly L. Seman was recently informed by that her biography has been accepted for publication in Who’s Who, making her eligible to compete for one of the 200 scholarships of $1,000 each that will be awarded this year.
“Since only 5 percent of the students from our nation’s 24,000 high schools are honored in Who’s Who each year, we commend you for your achievements. You may want to celebrate this honor with your family,” said National Academic Affairs chair Parke H. Davis in his letter to Seman.
Seman’s student biography will be included in the 38th Edition of the publication, including other mementos that display her achievements.
Seman is now automatically eligible to compete for one of the 200 scholarships of $1,000 each. Over $3,600,000 has been awarded through this program to date.
Her inclusion also enables her to use The College Referral Service®, a reference service for college-bound Who’s Who students exclusively.
“With the CRS, you can designate which colleges you want us to notify of your selection to Who’s Who. Recent surveys indicate that 95 percent of responding college admissions directors use the CRS to recruit students for admission,” said Davis.
Each year over 100,000 referrals are made for Who’s Who students.
Seman was also given the opportunity to nominate a teacher whom she wishes to honor in Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers®.
“When evaluating the teachers who ‘made a difference’ in your life, please remember to consider teachers from your earliest years who may have influenced your current success,” Davis said.
