UP Alumni Association meeting tomorrow

THE University of the Philippines Alumni Association CNMI Chapter will hold its regular general membership meeting tomorrow, Saturday, Sept. 4, at the POLO/OWWA area of Nauru Building.
The meeting will start at 6pm. It will also coincide with the sendoff party for the chapter president, Dr. Concepcion “Ching” Van Der Veen.
All members are encouraged to attend the potluck party. UPAA also thanks its sponsors, donors and supporters for the Aug. 14 raffle drawing. Proceeds of the fundraising activity will go to the building of a classroom in the Philippines for the next school year.

Winners of the raffle drawing are J. Marie Fulgencio (1st prize, $500); Rebecca Flores (2nd prize, $200); and Dr. Gabriel de Guzman (3rd prize, $100). These three major winners donated full or portion of their prizes to UPAA. Consolation prize winners are Dr. Gabriel de Guzman (1-year subscription of Saipan Tribune); Jess Marfil (three-month subscription of Marianas Variety; Mila Tuazon (1 PIC Waterpark pass); and Ariel Lavilla (1 PIC Waterpark pass). Other winners of tools and cases of fruit juices include Domie Tebuteb, Orleyne Tabucanon, Izaiah Borja, Lupe Sabino and MC Villagomez.
