SAIPAN TYPHOON RELIEF CENTER CLOSES SUNDAY

The Saipan Typhoon Relief Center at the Joeten-Kiyu Public Library will be closed tomorrow, Sunday, Sept. 5. Normal operations will resume on Monday, Sept. 6, from 8am to 8pm. The STRC is accepting applications from individuals who suffered damages as a result of Supertyphoon Chaba and who are in need of tents, tent kits, blankets, cots, or tarps.

TINIAN, ROTA DISASTER RECOVERY CENTERS TO OPEN TOMORROW

The Tinian and Rota Disaster Recovery Centers will be open tomorrow, Sept. 5, at the Tinian Youth Center and the Rota Public Library. Commonwealth and federal officials will be available at the center to provide information and registration assistance to residents who may need help in recovering from the damage of Supertyphoon Chaba. Loan officers from the Small Business Association will also be on hand to issue loan applications to those who have teleregistered.
