RELIEF DONATIONS

Donations requested by the CNMI Emergency Operations Center to aid families who suffered damage as a result of Supertyphoon Chaba should be directed to Karidat Social Services for collection and distribution. Canned goods, new and used clothing, in-kind and monetary donations are welcome. Checks should be made payable to “Karidat Social Services” and specify in the memo line that they are for Typhoon Chaba relief. Families in need of these items are encouraged to visit Karidat in Chalan Kanoa or call 670-234-5248.

Relief supplies for residents of the Northern Islands in the aftermath of Typhoon Songda will be shipped today, Sept. 4. Individuals and family members wanting to send relief items should contact the Northern Islands Mayor’s Office today to have their items included in the shipment.
