The NMI Retirement Fund will hold its 24th anniversary celebration honoring the Fund’s active and retired members “for their dedicated service to the government of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.”

This celebration will start today at 10:30am with a signing by Lt. Gov. Diego T. Benavente of the proclamation declaring October as Retirement Fund Month. Light refreshments will follow after brief remarks by Benavente and Board of Trustees chair Joseph C. Reyes.

Active members and retirees of the Fund are invited to attend.

Dates of the celebration at the Fund’s branch offices on Tinian and Rota will be announced later.
