Roads closed for Troop Fest concert

Traffic along certain sections of Garapan will be re-routed on Dec. 23 due to the scheduled Troop Fest Concert at the American Memorial Park.
The Department of Public Safety’s Traffic Section said the following roads within the Garapan Hotel District would be closed and monitored during the Troop Fest Concert:
* Micro Beach Road eastbound lane would be closed. All vehicles heading east on Micro Beach Road by Hyatt Regency Hotel would turn right onto Coral Tree Ave. and proceed south and then left onto Orchid Street onto the main Beach Road by Winchell’s.
* All vehicles heading north along Coral Tree Avenue or east of the Hyatt Regency Hotel would have to make a left turn upon entering the Micro Beach Road and head west to the Micro Beach area for parking.
* The westbound lane along Micro Beach Road from the Garapan Fire Sub-Station is open all the way toward the Micro Beach areas.
The designated parking areas are the Micro Beach Road from the field across from the Park Ranger’s Maintenance Office.
This road closure will begin at 2pm, Dec. 23, and will remained closed up until 9pm.
