NMASA, BANMI monthly meetings next week

The Northern Marianas Amateur Sports Association and the Basketball Association of the Northern Mariana Island will have their respective monthly meetings next week.
The governing sports body of the CNMI will conduct its meeting on Thursday, Jan. 6, 2005, beginning 7:30pm at the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium conference room.
All board members of NMASA are required to attend the meeting. Sports associations sending athletes to the Palau 2005 South Pacific Mini Games must also send a representative. Partial payment for airline tickets and per diem for sports associations and athletes going to Palau are due at this date.
Nominees for December athletes and student athletes of the month would also be decided. NMASA also announced that the board would be taking a vote on who will be enshrined to the NMASA Hall of Fame.
BANMI, meanwhile, would have its meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2005, also at the Ada Gym conference room starting at 6:30pm. Topics to discussed in the agenda are the wrinkles in the ongoing 2004 Government Basketball League and updates about the 35-and-over Masters Basketball League and 25-and-under Basketball League.
