The Saipan Major Little League Baseball Association will be holding a board meeting next weekend to determine the future leadership of the organization.

On Saturday, Jan. 15, board members will gather in the conference room of the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium at 9am to elect officers for the coming year and to get a jump on building upon the success of last year’s All-Star teams in Guam and the mainland.

The CNMI sent representatives from the Little, Junior, Senior and Big leagues to Guam for the regional tournament last summer, and with the exception of the Big League team who lost a one-run heartbreaker in their final game, all advanced to the World Series tournaments in South Williamsport, PA, Taylor, MI, and Bangor, ME, respectively.
