Singer Eddie Rabbitt may love a rainy night, but the men of the Island Wide Slow-Pitch Softball Association have other ideas about the weather phenomenon, as Monday night’s scheduled playoff games were scrubbed due to field conditions that were termed as unplayable.

All of the slow-pitch playoff action of the Saipan Softball Association returns tonight at the Oleai Sports Complex, when La Chai takes on Natibu X-Clusive at 6:30pm, and the second seeded Eliminators (11-2) take on the seventh seeded Bud Light Chura (8-5) at 7:30pm.

Luckily for the players in the fast-pitch league, the softball field at the Oleai Sports Complex absorbed enough moisture to allow them to play last night. The results of the games, however, were unavailable.
