SAFE & SOBER MEETING NEXT WEEK
The Safe and Sober Foundation is calling a general membership meeting for Tuesday, March 15, 2005, at 4:30pm, at the DPS Office of Special Programs Conference Room on the 3rd floor of the Family Building in Garapan. Other interested individuals are welcome to attend.

FRG MEETING SET
The Echo Company 100th Battalion 442nd Infantry Family Readiness Group would like to inform all families of our soldiers that there will be a Leadership Meeting on Monday, March 14, 2005 at 7pm at the Reserve Center. Also, the FRG General Membership Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, March 17, 2005, at 6pm at the Reserve Center.

PAG-IBIG TO STOP ACCEPTING PAYMENTS
This is to inform all Pag-IBIG members that the Pagi-IBIG Overseas Program (POP) office will no longer accept payments for membership contributions and housing loan amortization. Payments for such should coursed through accredited remittance centers in the CNMI.

PAWS MEMBERSHIP MEETING SET
The Pet Assistance & Welfare Services, or PAWS, will be holding its annual general membership meeting on Wednesday, March 16, 2005, at 11:30am in Giovanni’s at the Hyatt Regency Saipan.
Dr. Ignacia Dela Cruz of the Department of Lands and Natural Resources will be the keynote speaker. The group will also hear from local veterinarian Ed Tudor, DVM.
Lunch is $15 per person and will include the antipasto buffet with pasta dishes, bread, dessert and iced tea to drink.
“This is your chance to hear what has been accomplished during the past year and what we hope to accomplish in 2005. We value everyone’s comments and suggestions. We hope to see all interested people there,” PAWS said in a statement.
New or renewal memberships will be available at this time with a suggested membership donation of $30 annually.

MARIANAS MARCH AGAINST CANCER CAPTAINS’ MEETING SET
The 2005 Marianas March Against Cancer Committee is calling a meeting for all team captains for the March Against Cancer event that will take place later in May.
The meeting for team captains will be at 5:30pm on March 17, 2005 at the Charley’s Cabaret of the Pacific Islands Club.
The MMAC committee is asking individuals, organizations, schools, and businesses to become a part of this year’s March Against Cancer by forming a team and participating in this important event.
All team captains and other interested individuals are asked to attend the team captain meeting to learn more about the event.
The Marianas March Against Cancer event is the Commonwealth’s largest fundraiser in the fight against cancer. Groups wanting to register their team or anyone needing more information may email Reyna Hudson at jianhudson@hotmail.com.
