Live fire, aerial maneuvers at FDM

The Emergency Management Office, in conjunction with the Naval Forces, announced that the U.S. military is conducting aerial maneuvers and live-fire exercises on Farallon De Mendenilla.

Live-fire training began Tuesday and concluded yesterday. The exercise resumes on Monday, May 30 and will continue to June 5 from 7am to 11:59pm.

Live-fire training continues from June 10 to June 11, from 7am to 11:59pm; an aerial survey will be conducted on June 20 from 8am to 1pm.

The location of these activities will be on the northern island from 15,000 feet mean sea level on a 10 nautical-mile radius on all quadrants.

Due to the danger imposed by the activities, the public is advised to stay away from this location during the time and dates indicated.
