DES slate of events

This is to inform the general public and the Dandan community on the events that will be happening with Dandan Elementary School. The following are dates of our school events:

* June 3, 2005 Last instructional day for Dandan Elementary School students.

* August 3, 2005 1st day of instruction for School Year 2005-2006.

DEQ monthly cleanup set

The Division of Environmental Quality’s cleanup brigade will be picking up trash at Aboni Beach in Garapan, behind the Liberty Plaza Department Store.

Volunteers can meet the DEQ representative in the bright green T-shirt on Saturday, June 4, 2005, at 8am.

The brigade cleans until 10am and breaks for drinks, and then continues if needed.

This month, outstanding brigade members who participated in at least 10 monthly cleanups will receive a brigade cap and those who have participated in at least three cleanups will receive a green brigade T-shirt.

MHS Class of 1995 reunion

The reunion committee would like to invite the Marianas High School alumni of 1995 to a reunion celebration on July 9, 2005 at Charley’s Cabaret, Pacific Islands Club. Visminda raffle draw set

The Visayas Mindanao Association (Visminda) of CNMI, Inc. wishes to inform the public that the coronation and raffle draw of “Mrs. Visminda 2005” has been re-scheduled to June 18, 2005, 6:30pm at the Dai-Ichi Hotel’s Hibiscus Hall, Garapan, Saipan. NCEES examination set

The Board of Professional Licensing said that it would be giving the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) Principles and Practice of Engineering Examination (PE) civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical and professional land surveying examination on Oct. 28, 2005, and the Fundamentals of Engineering (FF) and Fundamentals of Land Surveying Examination on Oct. 29, 2005.

Applications to take the examinations must be submitted to the Board of Professional Licensing Office no later than July 1, 2005.
