The Northern Mariana Islands Track and Field Federation announced that it would host another edition of the highly competitive CNMI National Track and Field Championships on June 18 at the Oleai Sports Complex track and field facility.

NMITFF coaches director Elias Rangamar said the competition will feature two divisions—12-and-under and open.

Athletes will vie for top honors in the 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, and 1,500m races, as well as field events such as high jump, long jump, shot put, discus, softball throw—only for 12-and-under division—and javelin, among others. The top three finishers in each event will be presented with medals.

Registration begins at 1:30pm, with competition kick off at 2pm.

Among the familiar names expected to compete are World Youth Championships and World Championships-bound Darrel Roligat, South Pacific Mini Games-bound Dexter Dillay, middle distance specialist Bo Wang, as well as youth standouts Reylynn Sapong and Lia Rangamar, among others.
