Full disclosure?

Who is John Del Rosario and Rey Mafnas? If they are as popular and knowledgeable as they are, they better lay low now because their declarations can backfire.

Who is John Del Rosario and Rey Mafnas? If they are as popular and knowledgeable as they are, they better lay low now because their declarations can backfire.

For example, they are saying that the people behind the P magazine and Pacific Times must disclose their business as political campaign contribution for the governor or the BB because they are writing good things that the governor and his administration had done and still doing.

Now, what if we also ask them for full disclosure of the good things they say about Speaker Fitial or the candidates they support?

Can writing about any government programs or the government for that matter, be considered political contributions subject to full disclosure in accordance with the CNMI election law? Can you stamp a dollar sign to everything you write or say about? What happened to the freedom of the press in the CNMI?

If John Del Rosario or Ray Mafnas believe that BB is not qualified for a second term and they believe that Speaker Fitial or any candidate is more deserving, can we also put a dollar sign to those declarations and ask them to submit a full disclosure? Can somebody clarify the election law, please? Can somebody put sense and logic into what these two are saying?

Oh, my! What is happening in the island? So now Saipan Tribune can charge me for saying good things about the governor? It’s okay if you remit the money to the BB campaign fund because I do think the governor is doing a good job. Ooops, I need to pay additional dollars for that?
