The Saipan Chamber of Commerce and the Governor’s Office will sponsor “A Special Conference on Health: Improving Healthcare in the CNMI through Private/Public Partnerships” this Thursday, Aug. 11.

The daylong event will bring together public and private health care providers and insurance providers. It will be a first step to initiate dialogue about the way that health care is delivered and funded in the CNMI.

It will also provide an opportunity for health care providers to network and have the opportunity to discuss many of the issues facing the health care system today.

“We anticipate that the day will identify many topics that will need further discussion and efforts to resolve. A report of the day’s proceedings will be published, and follow-up meetings planned,” said Chamber executive director Christine Parke.

If you are a health care provider and have not received an invitation to this conference, please contact the Chamber office at 233-7150. (PR)
