Rains prompt water outage in As Mahetog
The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. is informing its customers residing in As Mahetog that it has temporarily cut off water services to that area.

The CUC Water Division said that heavy rain has caused a high level of turbidity in the Agaton Springs.
“The CNMI Drinking Water Regulations does not allow water that has this high level of turbidity to be served to the public. Therefore, [CUC has] discontinued water services to this area until such time test results show that turbidity has reduced and the water meets the standards set in the CNMI Drinking Water Regulations,” the agency said in a statement.
