Garapan water outage today

The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. said that there will be a temporary water outage in the Garapan area today, Aug. 17, 2005, between the hours of 5:45am and 7pm.

Areas affected will be residents and businesses located from Chalan Pale Arnold Road (Middle Road) to Coral Tree Avenue (hotel area).

CUC said this outage is necessary so that the waterline may be pressurized along Garapan Street to Copa Dioru Street to allow the Water Task Force contractor to continue to conduct leak detection measures. During that time customers within that area may experience higher than normal water pressure.
