Load Shedding Schedule

After several weeks of pre-announced power outages, the Commonwealth Utilities Corp. hopes that energizing engine #8 on Tuesday will lessen, if not completely end, the recent rounds of load-shedding. Realizing, however, that emergency maintenance is required on any of the other 10-year-old engines, CUC is acting proactively to publish the following load shedding schedule for Tuesday and Wednesday, to be used only in dire need.
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 6, 2005
10am – 12 noon: Lateral under Feeder 3 – Areas affected are around East West Rental in Chalan Laulau (if necessary)
3pm – 5pm: Feeder 4 – 2nd and 3rd Partials – Areas affected are portions of Capitol Hill, Mt. Tapochao, Talofofo, Agag, As Teo, Papago and Kagman (including schools)
5pm – 7pm: Kiya 2 – 2nd Partial – Areas affected are Chalan Kanoa District 3 (including WSR Elementary School), and portions of Districts 1 and 2, Tun Doi Road, Fina Sisu, portions of As Perdido, Chalan Piao and San Antonio
7pm – 9pm: Kiya 4 – 2nd Partial – Areas affected are Susupe (including Saipan Community School) and portions of Chalan Kanoa Districts 2, 3 and 4 (including Sister Remedio School)
WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 7, 2005
10am – 12 noon: Lateral under Feeder – 2 – Areas affected are areas around B&R in Chalan Laulau and MVA office in Oleai (if necessary)
3pm – 5pm: Feeder 3 – 2nd Partial – Areas affected are Gualo Rai, Chalan Laulau, portions of China Town and As Falipe
5pm – 7pm: Feeder 7 – 1st Partial – Areas affected are Lower Base, As Mahetog and Tanapag
7pm – 9pm: Kiya 1 – 3rd Partial – Areas affected are CPA Airport, Koblerville (including Koblerville Elementary and Saipan Southern High Schools and Subdivision), As Perdido, As Gonno and portions of Afetnas
