Mobil Oil Mariana Islands, Inc. announced the largest network of gas stations in Saipan has expanded with a new location to service the island’s southern residents.

To mark the occasion a grand opening celebration will be held today, Sept. 16, from 2pm to 6pm at the Kagman location at the intersection of Isa Drive and Kagman Road.

The service station is the first to be constructed in the Kagman area. Doors opened to the community on May 20, 2005. The addition of this site increases the number of stations on Saipan to 12.

Kagman Mobil has a 10,200-square-foot forecourt with six pumps and a 1,700-square-foot Mobil Mart convenience store that includes Green Mountain gourmet coffee, local favorite foods, bakery and hot food items.

“Mobil is pleased with the Kagman station. The station has been well received by the community and has provided a needed service to the surrounding residents,” said Mobil Oil Mariana Islands Inc. president Kamal Singh.

“We are happy to have Edward and Jovita Flores manage Kagman Mobil. The Flores’ are respected members of this community and are a valuable addition to the Mobil family. They have established a name for themselves in our network and we are pleased to have them on our team,” said Singh.

Special promotions and giveaways will be available in today’s grand opening and throughout the weekend. The ribbon cutting ceremony will be held today at 4pm.

“We invite the community to join us in this event,” Mobil said in a statement.

The store is open seven days a week, from 6am to 10pm.
