A woman who allegedly stormed a poker establishment on Wednesday has been arrested after she allegedly slapped a man inside and tried to stab him with a long metal object.

Department of Public Safety spokeswoman Catherine Sheu said the victim, a 30-year-old male, filed the complaint against the suspect, Ru Mei Huang, 31, Wednesday.

The police did not disclose the identity of the victim, who had said that he had a minor altercation with another man outside the establishment before the incident.

The victim told police that, while he was inside the Dollar Poker in Garapan at 5am, he was surprised when a woman suddenly came in and slapped him on the face. He alleged that the woman also attacked him with a long metal pipe, hitting him with it.

Sheu said the suspect was arrested on assault with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery and disturbing the peace charges.
