ELECTION PANEL TO MOVE TO SUSUPE

In its final preparations for the Nov. 5, 2005 general election, the Commonwealth Election Commission will move its offices and its day-to-day operations from its Capitol Hill office to the Pedro P. Tenorio Multi-Purpose Center in Susupe, Saipan beginning Monday, Oct. 17, 2005 until Nov. 21, 2005.

The commission could still be reached through telephone number 664-VOTE and by facsimile at 664-8689. Electronic mail should continue to be addressed to cec@saipan.com and info@votecnmi.gov.mp.

“We appreciate the general public’s cooperation as we make our earnest final preparations for this year’s general election,” said commission executive director Gregorio C. Sablan.

Attention to all Chamorro music recording artists in the CNMI and Guam.

You are being urged to call Joe Mesa of “Island Breeze” at the “Luta Tribe/Island Breeze” headquarters on Rota at (670) 532-6372 or e-mail him at islandbrzflej@yahoo.com to help out in a telethon Katrina relief effort concert slated for Nov. 2 on Saipan.
