The Brilliant Star Montessori ended its weeklong celebration of the International Week Monday with parents and their children dressing up in the native costumes of various countries. Seventy-eight children ranging from 18 months to nine years old gathered at the Brilliant Star grounds dressed in beautiful national costumes. Some of the parents were also clad in spectacular outfits that complemented their children’s costumes.

During the celebration of International Week, parents conducted presentations in the school about their native country or any country that they wanted the children to know. The culminating activity also included a parade within the school campus.

Spectacular dance numbers from the children depicting Cambodian, Hawaiian and Cook Islands traditional dances thrilled the audience as children also got up on their feet as they tried the Alana’ia Dance Troupe dance moves. The group showcased traditional Polynesian dance routines.
