SANTA RITA, Guam—Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Marianas is partnering with the Government of Guam and University of Guam to showcase to the public two images taken by NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope.

The images will be first displayed at the “Blast Off! A NASA Aerospace Exhibit” at the Antonio B. Won Pat Guam International Airport Authority. An unveiling ceremony will be held today at 3 pm at the airport’s east ticket lobby. Representatives from the Navy, GovGuam, and UOG will be in attendance.

Once the exhibit has concluded, which is set for Dec. 31, the images will be permanently displayed at the university’s planetarium.

COMNAVMAR acquired the photographs from NASA earlier this past summer. They have been on display at Naval Base Guam’s library. (PR)
