The Northern Marianas Junior Golf League, Inc. will start its Spring Session of program and instructions on Jan. 9, 2006.

The league’s Spring Session will be from 4pm to 6pm at the Laolao Bay Golf Resort Driving Range.

The Spring Session will be for nine weeks and will end on March 10. The NMJGL will accept applications between 10am and 12pm on Jan. 7 at the Hard Rock Café.

Boys and girls between 6 to 17 years of age are invited to join the league’s Spring Session.

The NMJGL was established in 1997 with the help of DFS, Marianas Investment, Inc., Verizon, Rotary Club of Saipan, Pacific Trading Co., Laolao Bay Golf Resort, and many other corporate and individual sponsors.

The program has been a success with more than 300 children having joined the program. With the enormous contribution from Laolao Bay Golf Resort, the Spring Session will be another exciting learning experience for beginners, intermediate and advance students. With the help of a golf teaching professional, the students will be able to learn and hone in on their driving, chipping, and putting skills as well as learning golf etiquette.

The NMJGL offers limited space for the Spring Session. You may register in advance by calling the Law Office of Edward Manibusan at 235-6520 for more information.

The league is also accepting monetary donations. If you are also able to donate or become a corporate sponsor, please call 235-6520 or Marian Aldan-Pierce at 236-2500. (PR)
