Marianas High School student Michael R. Camacho Jr. completed his four-month cooperative education training with the Marianas Visitors Authority on Dec. 15, 2005.

In partnership with the MHS’s Cooperative Education program, students enrolled in this course had the opportunity to gain first-hand work experience.

“I have always been interested in working in the tourism industry,” said Camacho. “I learned through the research division how tourist arrivals were calculated and realized how important our Japan market is.”

Camacho received training in all areas of MVA. “I’ve learned so much in each division and I had such a great experience here. I will never forget my training with MVA!” concluded Camacho.

Camacho is currently a senior at MHS and will be graduating in June 2006. (PR)
