2006 welcomes 2 healthy baby boys

The New Year welcomed the birth of two healthy baby boys—River Oakley Feliciano and Xu Zi Xing—at the Commonwealth Health Center.

Feliciano is the second child of couple Invictos Feliciano and Dhana Marie Villanueva of Garapan. Villanueva delivered 7-lb. River Oakley at exactly 12:01pm after a successful caesarean operation.

“We named him River because the flowing water is lucky,” Villanueva said. “Oakley is a popular brand,” added Feliciano.

The proud father said that River Oakley, like him, was born during the “Year of the Dog” in the Chinese calendar.

Viewing the birth of River Oakley on New Year as lucky, the parents wished for prosperity, peace, and success of the CNMI and the incoming administration of Gov.-elect Benigno Fitial.

Meanwhile, Li Shuang Nu gave birth via normal delivery to a healthy 6-lb. boy, Xu Zi Ling, at 1:05pm. The baby is the first child of Li and Ye Feng of San Antonio.
