The new programming for The Visitors Channel is obviously paying off. According to the latest QMark Research & Polling results, viewership of the Visitors Channel has risen 9 percent over the last year.

QMark interviewed departing Japanese guests at A.B. Won Pat International Airport in Guam. Interviewing began on Oct. 1, 2005 and ended on Dec. 8, 2005. All surveys were interviewer-administered and conducted face to face.

Laurie Peterka, vice president of The Visitors Channel says, “It’s very exciting to know that all the hard work that has gone into re-branding the Visitors Channel is paying off. Our monthly changes to the programming assures us that repeat visitors do not see the same program each time they visit therefore they are more inclined to watch it again. We are thrilled to see our numbers go up.”

The Visitors Channel is shown on Saipan on Channel 3 and in Guam on Channel 28. The programming is shown 24 hours a day, seven days a week. (PR)
