The HCM Saints blanked CK Kings in the second quarter en route to 47-22 demolition of their sister team as the 2006 Inter-Village Youth Basketball League entered its second week Tuesday night at the Chalan Kanoa Basketball Court.

Luizi Reyes was hot from the get-go and his eight-point explosion in the opening eight minutes propelled the Saints to a 10-4 lead going into the second quarter.

Kings struggled big time in the second quarter and didn’t even register a single point, while the Saints ran amok and added 14 to their total to go into the break ahead by 20 points, 24-4.

Saints continued to dominate the game in the third. Kings had a consolation of sorts when they didn’t repeat their scoreless second in the third by tossing in six, but they still trailed big, 35-10, heading into the fourth and final quarter.

Reyes continued his game long brilliance in the final period and fired another eight points, as Saints celebrated with the 25-point win.

Reyes paced Saints with 31 markers, while Santi Bluett led the Kings with 10 points.
