Power outage on Kiya 1 today
The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. is informing its customers that there will be a scheduled power outage on Kiya 1 today, March 12, from 11am to 4pm.
The purpose of the outage is to allow CUC’s line crew to perform maintenance work on 5 Air-Break Switches and 1 SCADA Switch that are corroded at the existing metal structures.
This outage will affect the following areas: the Waterloo Substation, Kanat Tabla, As Terlaje, Fina Sisu, San Vicente, Papago, Lower and Upper Dandan Homestead, Obyan Water Wells, the Francisco C. Ada International Airport, Airport Road, Isley Field, As Gonno, Koblerville and As Perdido.
The Dandan Intersection and As Perdido traffic lights will be also affected as well as water and wastewater services located within these areas. (PR)
