INCOME TAX RETURN FILING DEADLINE
Division of Revenue & Taxation is informing all CNMI residents that the deadline for tax filing of the 2005 Individual Income Tax Return is Monday, April 17, 2006 at the office of the Division of Revenue and Taxation located at the Joeten Dandan Commercial Center.
Their deadline hours for April 17, 2006 are from 7:30am to 10:30 pm. (PR)
FRAMINGHAM REGISTRATION DEADLINE SET
Framingham State College master’s program registration ends April 7, 2006. Classes begin April 8, 2006.
Northern Marianas College, CNMI-Registration is now open for on-going students in the Framingham State College Master of Education program. Students must register by April 7 to enroll in the course that begins April 8. Total amount is $582 for Cohort 3 and $598 for Cohort 4, plus $40 facilitation fee for both cohorts. The textbooks and pre-course assignments are now available.

SHRM OFFERS SCHOLARSHIPS
The CNMI Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management will be awarding two $500 scholarships to eligible students in the CNMI. The scholarship aims to develop professionals through encouraging higher education to ultimately build a pool of skilled employees to support the field of Human Resources for the CNMI. This scholarship is also offered to all eligible employees who have means to improve their skills and to provide a pathway for career development and to encourage individuals to pursue a career Human Resource Management.
Scholarship applications are available for pick up at the Marianas Visitors Authority or the Office of Personnel Management. All applications must be postmarked or received by May 5, 2006.
