Renovations to Kilo Wharf completed
SANTA RITA, Guam—Naval Facilities Engineering Command Marianas will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony April 3 to recognize the completion of renovations at Kilo Wharf on Naval Base Guam.
Renovations completed include the replacement of all wharf utility systems, including fire suppression, potable water, electricity and lightning protection; repaving and widening of Orote Point Road; and the installation of a new concrete ordnance-handling pad. The project is considered vital by the Navy as a way to enhance wharf capabilities and ordnance operations.
