1st CNMI Labor Day softball tourney starts today
The Inaugural CNMI Labor Day Softball Tournament 2024 kicks off today, Aug. 29, at the Francisco “Tan Ko” Palacios Baseball Field.
At 5:30pm today, there will be a coaches meeting, then an opening ceremony at 6pm, with the first game of the tourney to follow.
The men’s games at the Francisco “Tan Ko” Palacios Baseball Field are set for tomorrow, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Sep. 1, with the championship rounds, a closing ceremony, and a banquet with live music after.
Meanwhile, the women’s games will be on Saturday and Sunday at the Miguel “Tan Ge” Pangelinan Softball Field adjacent behind the Tan Ko field.
The 10 men’s teams include 4KUNI, Bat-titude, Blue Jays, Team Luta (Rota), Parre’ Pack, Pound Town, Skoba, Sons of San Jose (Tinian), Mamaww, and Titang.
The four women’s teams are BDE, Boujee-Rebels, Lady Sufa, and Sliding Dirty.
