Little League embarks on new venture

Calling all boys and girls who were interested in playing baseball this season but were too young to get on a team, the Saipan Little League Baseball Association is opening up a new Tee Ball league, a Minor League, and a girls’ fast-pitch softball league.

Yankees trounce Tacoma, 12-3

Last year’s runner-up in the Saipan Major League continued on their pace toward the pennant as the Northern Yankees rolled a brand new loss off of the showroom floor for the Toyota Tacoma during a 12-3 trouncing Wednesday night at the Francisco M. Palacios Baseball Field in Oleai.
