NMI JROTC drill teams leave for regional meet

Three CNMI Public School System JROTC programs are traveling to Torrance, Calif., this week to compete in the 8th Brigade, Cadet Command Inaugural Drill Meet for all Western Region based schools. The competition occurs at North High School on Feb. 18, 2012.

‘Rainbow salad’ tops KagES recipe contest

The “rainbow salad” prepared by sixth graders Mannelyn Cabrera and Leikita Maliuyaf emerged as the top winner in the 2012 Kagman Elementary School’s recipe contest, besting 23 other contenders in the competition held Monday on campus.

Board emphasizes importance of procedures, trainings for regents
