US Probation asks court to discharge disbarred lawyer from supervised release
The U.S. Probation Office yesterday asked the U.S. District Court for the NMI to discharge disbarred lawyer Joseph A. Arriola from supervised release.
U.S. Probation Officer Gregory F. Arriola informed the court that Joseph Arriola has complied with the conditions of supervised release that the court imposed.
According to the probation officer, Joseph Arriola’s supervised release expired on Aug. 30, 2015.
The probation officer recommended the court that the proceedings in the case be terminated.
In October 2010, Joseph Arriola started to serve his 58-month prison term for his conviction of two counts of wire fraud. He was required to pay $625,775 in restitution jointly with co-defendant, Luis K. Pelisamen.
Pelisamen was sentenced to five years in prison.
