2nd Annual Humanities Film Festival kicks off today
The Northern Marianas Humanities Council’s 2nd Annual Humanities Film Festival starts today with the theme “Our Community’s Resiliency.”
The film festival, dubbed “Soudelor and the Winds of Change in the CNMI,” will have the following schedule:
• Aug. 2 at Grandvrio Resort, 6-8pm
• Aug. 3 at Kagman High School cafeteria, 6pm
• Aug. 4 at Hopwood Jr. High School cafeteria, 6pm
The following films will be showed:
• Soudelor Saipan Strong by Sveta Hunter
• C.O.R.E HEAL SAIPAN by Glen Hunter
• Blown Away by Enhao Feng, Tianbo Zhang, and Beibei Chen
• Typhoon Soudelor, The documentary by Jerico Montenejo and Casey Huliganga
• Saipan Strong by Jobelle Tabuena
• Saipan and the gales of Typhoon Soudelor by Angela Felici M. Cruz
Awarding for the winning movie will be at Garapan Fishing Base on Aug. 6, Saturday.
