Only five teams are left to battle for the championship in the 2015 Rocball League.

Still standing after eight rounds and 40 regular season games are the Benchwarmers, Local Motion, Veterans, Oba Squirt, and Teachers, while G.V.D., Mix, Nameless, IDGU, and Happy are eliminated.

The Benchwarmers lead the team standings with their 8-0 record, followed by the Vetarans (7-1), Local Motion (6-2), and Teachers and Oba Squirt, which hold similar 5-3 records.

Only the Top 4 teams will advance to the semifinals, which will be a best-of-three affair. The finals is a best-of-five showdown.

Meanwhile, the Veterans are also leading the league in the combined two-point and three-point plays with their 88 and 6. The Benchwarmers are in second with 78 two-point plays and 3 three-point plays, while Local Motion is ranked third with 59 two-point plays and 8 three-point plays. Two points are given to a kee, xunk, ace, and jam, while a goal is equivalent to three points. (Saipan Tribune)
