670 Sonics thank supporters, eye return in PH tournament

The 670 Sonics acknowledged all the companies and individuals who made their participation to the 3rd Dreamers International Basketball Tournament in the Philippines last month possible.

The 670 Sonics sent two teams in the competition held at the Batis Aramin Hotel & Resort in Lucban, Quezon and won the Sportsmanship Award aside from three individual plums. Sean-Paulo Rafols made it to the 2nd Defensive Team, while Khristian Itaas and Emmanuel Cobacho took the Most Improved Player awards in the U16 and U18 age groups, respectively.

“The level of competition in the 3rd Dreamers International Basketball Tournament was very competitive. We will better prepare our basketball teams’ development skills and teamwork if we do get invited to the 4th Dreamers International Basketball Tournament. We did our best as a team to represent and be CNMI ambassadors,” head coach Omar Ajoste said.

“We, the 670 Sonics Basketball Association want to extend a huge appreciation to all of our donors,” Ajoste added.

The club drew support from Armatech, Brabu Pharmacy, CHCC Providers, CHCC Hospital Staff, Fishing Tackle, Kanoa Resort, Island Brand Clothing, Latte Built, Marianas Visitors Authority, Pacific Islands Club, PSS staff and teachers, Tan Siu Lin Foundation, Reps. Angel Demapan, BJ Attao, Edwin Propst, Edmund Villagomez, Francisco Aguon, Francisco Dela Cruz, Joseph Lee Pan Guerrero, Lorenzo Deleon Guerrero, and Vinson Sablan, senator Sixto Igisomar, vice speaker Janet Maratita, WE>1 Clothing, World Resort Saipan, and 670 Sonics alumni, players’ families and friends, co-workers, and board and officers.
