BRIEFS

NMI Red Cross for Littleton

The Northern Mariana Islands Chapter of the American Red Cross is providing the opportunity for local schools to get involved on the recent tragedy in Littleton, Colorado. It has sent out information to all the public and private schools in the Commonwealth about the opportunity to educate the youth on violence and for the youth to share their own condolences with the victims half way around the world. Not only has the NMI Chapter informed the schools of this opportunity to use the Internet to pass on their messages of condolences, the chapter has also offered to type in messages for those schools which do not have access to the Internet.
