Enhancement program
this summer
The College Lab School of the Northern Marianas College is slated to hold an enhancement program this summer for children who will be entering grades one through four this coming school year.
In a memorandum to parents, acting CLS Principal Chas J. Algaier said that the summer program will use environmental education curriculum, which was developed by the University of Hawaii. It was originally designed for the Public School System of Hawaii.
Under that curriculum, students will participate in theme-based activities which will integrate language arts, science, social studies, math, arts and physical education.
The enhancement program will run for six weeks, staring first week of June.
Since only 18 students are allowed to enroll, slots will be available through first come, first-served basis.
